Welcome to the Nye Museum

Welcome to the Nye Museum’s online home. Here you can plan your visit to the Benjamin Nye Homestead, a treasured heirloom of early American history. You can also learn about the Nye Museum’s services and mission, browse our calendar of events, and—alongside the museum’s dedicated staff—engage with the history of American Nyes.

While visiting the museum, be sure to visit our 1678 colonial house museum, the 1858 Grist Mill and Nye Mill Museum, and feel free to explore the property, with its mill stream, marsh, trails, old fish hatchery, and observation deck. And don’t forget to ask one of our friendly staff members about the neck overlooking Nye Pond where you may picnic.

The Nye Museum thrives thanks to the support of its community. We want to hear from you. We also hope you will consider supporting us by volunteering, becoming a member, or donating now.
