2022 Special Exhibit: The Road to Revolution on Cape Cod
June 18 @ 12:00 pm – October 15 @ 4:00 pm
Our 2022 special exhibit explores the history of Cape Cod during the lead-up to the American Revolution (c. 1763-1776). It tells the story of how Cape Cod towns responded to the crisis with Britain and recounts harrowing stories of local leaders, including Stephen Nye, Nathaniel Freeman, James Otis, Mercy Otis Warren, Abigail Freeman, and others.
The exhibit will feature archaeological artifacts, material culture, and antiques highlighting how Cape Codders from this era lived and sustained themselves.
This exhibit is part of the 2022 event series, “The Road to Revolution on Cape Cod.” For a limited time, we are offering complementary 1-year trial memberships to anyone who purchases a ticket to any event in the series.
