Cape Cod and the Tea Party Crisis of 1773

A special webinar presentation by historian Mary Beth Norton, Mary Donlon Alger Professor Emerita, Cornell University. Professor Norton is the acclaimed author of In the Devil’s Snare and more recently, 1774: The Long Year of Revolution. In this webinar, she will discuss the sinking of the ship William off Race Point in December 1773. A portion of the webinar will be reserved for questions from the audience.

This event is part of Nye Museum’s 2022 Event Series, “The Road to Revolution on Cape Cod.” We are offering complementary 1-year trial memberships to anyone who registers for this event.
