First Day Hike FULL

THIS PROGRAM IS NOW FULL. EMAIL INFO@NYEMUSEUM TO BE PUT ON THE WAITLIST.

The Sandwich Conservation Trust in partnership with the Nye Museum
will offer a guided walk January 1st, 2025. John Cullity and Sam White will
provide commentary. Both guides are local historians and nature observers. John is
also president and one of the founders of the SCT.

Parking is at 85 Old County Road and across the street. We will meet in the
Grange Hall on the museum campus for a brief orientation to the area and then
walk along trails to Scorton Creek. Learn about the history of the land, geography
and how the area has changed over the centuries. Come prepared for some rough,
possibly damp terrain. Please leave dogs at home. In case of significantly poor
weather that prevents hiking, we will hold discussions at the Grange Hall with trail
maps and photos for interested parties.

This is a FREE event suitable for adults and children. Please RSVP to secure your
spot.
