Nye Museum March Quilters’ Retreat

Quilting and Quilts were a necessary tradition in our antique homesteads.  Keeping with this tradition, the Nye Museum, along with quilter, Ellie Held are offering 2 four-day SPRING QUILTING RETREATS at the East Sandwich Grange Hall, 91 Old County Road, East Sandwich, MA 02537

Join the fun with other friendly quilters in our large, bright room with windows. Bring your project, machine, & quilting tools.  Prizes, field trip to Quiltcorner Studio (10% discount), Ice Cream Sunday Bar, Free Table (bring unwanted fabric, patterns, threads), and Skills to Share Time.  Cutting tables and ironing boards available.

Catered lunch included.

Attendees limited to 28 quilters.

We are now taking reservations on a first come, first served basis.

You will be sharing one half of an 8’ table. 

Anyone wishing to bring goodies to share will be welcome; no coffee available, so grab your coffee cup or thermos of coffee each morning on your way. 

Planned lunch foods are green salads everyday; along with soup, or sandwiches or pizza.

On a special diet?  You may want to bring some of your own food to supplement the lunch. Refrigerator available.

Gallon jugs of water available, bring your own container or use cups provided.

PLEASE NOTE:  Ladies’ rooms and lunch room are located downstairs.  Ability to use stairs is a must.

Proof of Covid vaccination is required. Send copy of your card or show proof on the first day.  Masks required.
