Important Updates on COVID-19 and the Nye Museum

The Nye Museum remains open this summer, with necessary restrictions in place. All staff and visitors must wear a facemask on the property, and maintain social distance. These requirements are especially true indoors. Therefore, given its small space and what scientists are learning about the “aerosol effect” indoors, the 1678 house museum will remained closed indefinitely. However, the property, mill museum, and visitors center have been adapted to accommodate distancing requirements. They are open for self-guided tours Tuesday through Saturday 11-4. Additionally, we have added an all new narrated tour of the Old Fish Hatchery Trail. For more information, click here.

Thank you for accommodating these requirements during this difficult time from all the staff at Nye Museum. We look forward to a brighter future ahead!
